LIFECYCLE testingThe Testing lifecycle stage indicates that a pipeline has moved beyond initial development and is undergoing formal validation and quality assurance. A pipeline enters this stage through a manual lifecycle promotion from Development, typically after the author considers the logic complete. Pipelines in Testing can be executed on schedule or manually to verify correctness against representative data. This stage can transition forward to Staging or Production, backward to Development for rework, or to Deprecated if the pipeline is no longer needed.
