LIFECYCLE developmentThe Development lifecycle stage is the default stage assigned to newly created pipelines. It indicates that the pipeline SQL is experimental or under active construction and has not yet been validated for correctness or performance. Pipelines in the Development stage can hold any status (Draft, Active, Paused, Disabled, or Archived) and may be executed manually or on a schedule for iterative testing. This stage can transition forward to Testing, Staging, or Production as the pipeline matures, or directly to Deprecated if the work is abandoned. No SLA enforcement or approval gates apply at this stage.
