LIFECYCLE stagingThe Staging lifecycle stage represents the pre-production review gate where a pipeline awaits final approval before being certified for production use. A pipeline enters Staging through a manual promotion from Testing or Development and is expected to run against production-equivalent data to confirm behavior under realistic conditions. Approval workflows, if configured via the APPROVAL parameter, are enforced at this stage. Once approved, the pipeline can transition to Production; it may also return to Testing or Development for further iteration, or move to Deprecated.
