Install, activate, and manage the DeltaForge license.
## Overview The License page allows platform administrators to install, activate, and monitor the DeltaForge product license. A valid license determines which features and capacity limits are available across the deployment. This page supports both online activation (where the control plane contacts the licensing server directly) and offline activation (where an activation request file is exported, signed externally, and imported back). Administrators should visit this page during initial setup, when upgrading to a higher tier, or when investigating feature availability issues reported by end users. ## Key Features - Install a license key by pasting it into the installation form or uploading a license file. The control plane validates the key format and signature before accepting it. - Activate online with a single click when the control plane has outbound internet access. The activation handshake confirms the license against the remote licensing server and records the hardware fingerprint. - Activate offline by exporting an activation request payload, transferring it to a machine with internet access, obtaining the signed response from the licensing portal, and importing it back. - Inspect the list of licensed features and their effective dates. Each feature shows its current status (active, expired, or not included in the current tier). - Monitor license health including expiration date, seat count, node limit, and days remaining. Warning banners appear when the license is approaching expiration. - Deactivate the current license to release the hardware fingerprint before migrating to a new host. ## Workflow 1. Navigate to Admin and select License. 2. Paste or upload the license key provided by the DeltaForge sales team. 3. Choose online or offline activation. For online activation, click Activate and wait for confirmation. For offline activation, export the request file, complete the external signing process, and import the response. 4. After activation, review the Licensed Features panel to confirm that all expected capabilities are enabled. 5. Monitor the Status section periodically. Renew or upgrade the license before the expiration date to avoid service interruption.
